Courtney Sarah Morris
Collaborative Consultant / Holistic Coach / Retreat Designer and Facilitator
I partner with organizations, leaders and solopreneurs to strengthen systems, people, and culture—bringing a whole-systems, wellness-driven approach that optimizes operations, elevates teams, and builds sustainable, values-aligned flourishing.
My Journey
A painful injury in my twenties became the catalyst for my life’s work. While studying Ashtanga yoga with Sri Pattabhi Jois in the sacred city of Mysore, India, I experienced the profound healing that is possible when we open ourselves to the wisdom of body, mind, and spirit as one.
True healing begins when we honor the whole person.
This experience ignited my commitment to exploring both ancient and modern healing modalities, including Reiki, Shiatsu and reflexology – and to sharing these tools with others seeking wholeness and well-being.
The Awakening
My global travels and immersion in cross-cultural healing traditions became the foundation for everything that followed. I became a licensed massage therapist and certified yoga teacher not simply to practice these techniques, but to embody a philosophy: true wellness honors the whole person—body, mind, spirit, and community.
This integrative approach—bringing diverse elements into coherent, transformative experiences—has become the thread that runs through all my work.
Mastery & Leadership
Exceptional wellness experiences support both those who receive care and those who provide it.
Driven by a dream of creating transformative wellness spaces, I studied healing environments throughout the world—from Turkish hammams and Japanese onsens to Mexican temazcals, Canadian cryotherapy, and Costa Rican hot springs.
Professionally, I’ve held leadership roles including Managing Director at Pura Vida Retreat & Spa (Costa Rica), consultant for Maya Tulum (Mexico), and Regional Spa Manager for Equinox (NYC). In 2004, I joined the executive team at Ten Thousand Waves Spa & Resort in Santa Fe, where over nearly two decades I mentored 200+ staff, designed signature treatments and education programs, pioneered the first fully integrated ketamine retreat in a U.S. spa setting, and led initiatives that elevated both guest experience and staff culture.
The Vision: Cosamor Collaboration
In 2023, after over 20 years building wellness experiences—and launching my second child into adulthood—I realized my deepest calling wasn’t to open my own spa, but to support others in creating and evolving theirs.
Cosamor Collaboration was born from that clarity. My work now centers on collaborative innovation, transformational leadership, and sustainable growth within wellness and hospitality. I completed a yearlong mentorship with Dr. Katia Sol, PhD (Stanford University), refining my coaching and facilitation skills, and I serve as Board Chair of the Weissberg Foundation, advancing racial equity and social justice.
LEARNING THROUGH
Living the Practice
Outside of work, I’m renewed by nature, movement, creativity, and community. This commitment to continuous growth isn’t separate from my work—it is my work.
Collaboration is the path forward.
